Softener Flake 6N
Product Introduction
Softener Flake 6N is a cold-soluble, weak cationic and multifunctional solid softener. It is suitable for softening finishing of all kinds of fibers and blended fabrics.

Application Features
This product is resistant to acid, hard water and electrolytes. It is compatible with cationic and nonionic auxiliaries, and the prepared emulsion is stable without delamination.
Compared with conventional cationic quaternary ammonium softeners, it offers lower yellowing and minimal color change.
It provides excellent soft, fluffy and smooth hand feel. It is widely applicable for cotton, linen, silk, wool, chemical fibers and all blended yarns and fabrics.
The best softening performance is achieved when the working bath pH is controlled between 4.5 and 5.5.
Reference Application Process
Dissolving Method
Add Softener Flake 6N slowly into water under stirring at a proportion of 5% by weight. After feeding, keep stirring for 3 to 5 minutes for uniform dispersion, then soak for 1 to 2 hours and stir again until fully dissolved. In winter or under low water temperature, properly heat the water to 30℃ and extend the soaking time.
Padding Process
Dosage: 10~100 g/L (5% 6N emulsion)
Temperature: 30~50℃
Process: One-dip-one-nip or two-dip-two-nip
Exhaust Process
Dosage: 2~10% o.w.f (5% 6N emulsion)
Temperature: 30~50℃
Time: 15~20 minutes
Packaging & Storage
Packed in 25kg woven bags. Store in a cool and dry warehouse. Avoid heavy compression to prevent caking. Minimum shelf life is 12 months.
