CSEC-9H (Low-Salt Grade) is an eco-friendly surfactant featuring a molecular structure that combines both non-ionic and anionic characteristics. While retaining the original attributes of AEC-9H-such as high surface activity, broad pH adaptability, mildness and safety, and high biodegradability-it offers the added advantage of low salt content, making it suitable for high-end applications sensitive to salt levels.
Performance Characteristics
The salt content is controlled below 0.05% to prevent equipment corrosion or product stability issues caused by residual salts; it is readily biodegradable, with a degradation rate of 98% in OECD validation tests; and it features a low critical micelle concentration (CMC), excellent emulsifying and dispersing properties, and a broad pH operating range (2–12).

Application Areas
Suitable for sectors with strict requirements regarding chloride content-such as electronics and pharmaceuticals (e.g., high-end metal cleaners and PCB cleaning)-as well as the textile printing and dyeing industry, where it serves as a low-salt dyeing auxiliary to improve dye uniformity; it is also used in the agrochemical sector as a pesticide emulsifier to mitigate soil salinization.
